Resume Writing
There are many styles of resume to choose from when applying to jobs. Three primary styles are:
- Chronological Resume
- Functional Resume
- Combination Resume
Many universities provide online resources, guides, and PDFs for resume writing. Udemy and Coursera both offer free resume and CV writing tutorials.
University of Washington’s Resumes site has various videos, recorded webinars, and resources like sample resumes, action verbs, and a resume writing guide.
Similarly, University of Minnesota Resume Resources provides a resume writing guide and a couple different action verbs resources, from the College of Education and Human Development and School of Public Health.
